Deleting a Component

This section describes how to delete a component that is no longer used.

  • Deleting a component will also delete the automatically created LTS access configuration and host group.
  • After a component is deleted, the services provided by the component are unavailable.

Prerequisites

The component status is not Initializing, Upgrading/Rolling back the component, Scaling, Deleting, Starting, Stopping, Releasing, or Imported and restarting. For details about how to check the component status, see Viewing Component Details.

Deleting a Component

  1. Log in to ServiceStage.
  2. On the Application Management page, click the application to which the component belongs.
  3. In Component List:

    • Single deletion: Locate the component to be deleted and choose More > Delete in the Operation column.
    • Batch deletion: Select the components to be deleted and click Bulk Delete.

      Components created by Creating a Component Using a Component Template cannot be deleted in batches.

  4. In the displayed dialog box, perform the following operations based on the component creation method:

    After a container-deployed component whose technology stack is Java, Tomcat, Node.js, Python, or PHP is deleted, the build job created by the system is also deleted. For details, see Build Job Overview.
