Changing a Security Group

Scenarios

To meet service development requirements, improve security, and optimize network policies, enterprises can adjust security group rules to ensure service connectivity while strictly complying with the least privilege and corporate compliance requirements.

Check whether the security group in use includes the inbound and outbound rules required by desktop access. If not, desktop access and use will be affected. For details, see How Do I Configure Security Group Rules When Using a Custom Security Group?

Procedure

1. Log in to the console.
2. In the navigation pane, choose Desktops > Desktops.
3. Modify the desktop security group based on service requirements.
   • Changing the security group of a single desktop
     1. In the Operation column, choose More > Networking > Change Security Group.
     2. Select the required security group from the drop-down list.
     3. Enter YES or click Auto Enter to confirm the operation.
     4. Click OK.
   • Changing security groups for desktops in batches
     1. Select desktops whose security groups are to be modified in batches.
     2. Choose More > Networking > Change Security Group.
     3. Select the required security groups from the drop-down list.
     4. Enter YES or click Auto Enter to confirm the operation.
     5. Click OK.
