Private Image Management

Scenarios

After creating a private image, you can create an instance based on the image, and edit or delete the image.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the console.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Images > Private Images.
  1. Perform the operations in Table 1 as required.

    Viewing an image

    Above the private image list, use the filter function to quickly search for the required image by name, image ID, status, OS type, OS, image usage, or enterprise project.

    Creating an instance
    1. In the Operation column of the image list, click Create Instance. The dialog box for selecting the image usage is displayed.
    2. Select Desktop or Cloud application as required and click OK.
    3. The page for creating a desktop or server group is displayed. Purchase the desktop or server group as required.

    You can create a desktop or cloud application instance based on the created image.

    Editing
    1. In the Operation column of the image list, click Edit to go to the editing page.
    2. Modify the image name and description as required, or add tags to the image.

    You can modify the image name and description or add tags to the image based on service requirements.

    Creating again
    1. On the right of the image whose status is abnormal, click Create Again. The page for creating an image is displayed.
    2. Create the image again as prompted.

    If the image fails to be created, you can create it again.

    Continuing creation
    1. On the right of the image whose status is creating, click Continue.
    2. The page for creating an image is displayed.

    If you close the image creation page by mistake, you can click Continue to start the creation process again.

    Deleting the image creation server
    1. In the Operation column of the generated image, choose More > Delete Image Server. The page for deleting the image creation server is displayed.
    2. If you want to perform this operation, enter DELETE or click Auto Enter.
    3. Click OK.

    The image creation server has a default retention period. After the retention period expires, the server is automatically cleared. You can also manually delete the server at any time as required.

    Deleting an image

    Single deletion:

    1. In the Operation column of the generated image, choose More > Delete Image. The page for deleting the image is displayed.
    2. If you want to perform this operation, enter DELETE or click Auto Enter.
    3. Click OK.

    Batch deletion:

    1. Select the images to be deleted in batches and click Delete Image. The page for deleting images is displayed.
    2. If you want to perform this operation, enter DELETE or click Auto Enter.
    3. Click OK.

    You can delete unnecessary images based on service requirements.
