Changing the Component Description

After a component is created and deployed, you can change the description.

Prerequisites

Components in the Running and Not ready states support description change. For details about how to check the component status, see Viewing Component Details.

Changing the Component Description

  1. Log in to ServiceStage.
  2. Use either of the following methods to go to the component Overview page.

    • On the Application Management page, click the application to which the component belongs, and click the target component in Component List.
    • On the Component Management page, click the target component.

  3. Change the component description.

    1. Click next to the description.

    2. Enter up to 128 characters as the component description in the text box.
    3. Click .
