Overview of Cross-Account EIP Transfer
If an enterprise or organization structure changes or services need to be migrated, you need to retain EIPs and transfer them to another account. In this case, you can use cross-account transfer to transfer pay-per-use EIPs to another account.

- The project ID of the source account and that of the transfer account cannot be the same.
- Both the source and transfer accounts cannot be deregistered or frozen.
- Both the source and transfer accounts must have an available balance (a cash balance or credit limit).
- The transfer account must have:
- Permissions to assign EIPs of the same types as the source account.
- An available EIP quota that is greater than the number of EIPs to be transferred.
