Viewing CTS Traces

After you enable Cloud Trace Service (CTS), the system records all operations on DBSS resources, including agent installation, uninstallation, and policy configuration. You can use these CTS logs to trace historical operations and meet compliance audit requirements.

Constraints and Limitations

Users can only query operation records from the last seven days on the CTS console. Expired records are automatically deleted and cannot be manually deleted. To query operation records older than seven days, you must configure CTS to dump traces to OBS or LTS. You can then view historical events in the target OBS bucket or LTS log stream. Otherwise, operation records generated more than seven days ago will be unavailable.

Viewing a DBSS Trace on the CTS Console

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click and choose Management & Governance > Cloud Trace Service. The CTS console is displayed.
  3. Choose Trace List in the navigation pane.
  4. You can select Last 1 hour, Last 1 day, Last 1 week, or customize a time range above the list to view the events generated in the selected time range. You can also select an attribute from the search box above the list or enter a keyword to search for specified events.
