This section describes Anti-DDoS and Web Application Firewall (WAF) to help you better understand these security services.
Anti-DDoS
Anti-DDoS service uses dedicated anti-DDoS devices to provide refined protection for customer Internet applications, defending against all DDoS attacks, such as CC, SYN flood, and UDP flood. You can configure parameters to specify the threshold for DDoS prevention based on their rented bandwidth and service model. When the system detects a DDoS attack, it notifies the user of defending against the attack.

WAF
WAF detects and protects website service traffic in multiple dimensions. It intelligently identifies malicious request characteristics and defends against unknown threats based on deep machine learning to prevent common attacks such as SQL injection or cross-site scripting, preventing these attacks from affecting the availability, security, or using excessive resources of web applications. This service reduces the risk of data tampering and theft.
