Management and Deployment Services

This section describes Cloud Eye and the Identity and Access Management (IAM) service to help you better understand management and deployment services.

Cloud Eye

Cloud Eye is a multi-dimensional monitoring platform for resources such as cloud servers and bandwidth. With Cloud Eye, you can understand the resource usage and running status of services running on the cloud platform, receive alarm notifications in a timely manner, and react to changes to keep your services running smoothly. After a cloud server is created, Cloud Eye automatically starts monitoring. No manual intervention or plug-in installation is required.

For details, see the Cloud Eye Product Introduction.

Identity and Access Management

IAM provides identity authentication and permissions management. With IAM, you can manage user accounts (such as employees, systems, and applications) and control their access to cloud resources through permissions policies.

Enterprise Project Management Service (EPS)

EPS provides an one-stop management platform for SAP customers to manage resources and applications, facilitate O&M, and monitor services.

  • Easy Deployment: You can provision SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA using preset or customized templates, or manage existing SAP applications.
  • Quick capacity expansion: You can expand enterprise project resources, such as the capacity of EVS disks, to ensure data storage.
  • Backup and restoration: During routine maintenance, you can back up and restore applications to ensure data reliability.
  • Full screen monitoring: You can view the monitoring data to learn about resource usage of each application, alarms, and SAP system running status in real time.
  • Disaster recovery: After application DR tasks are created and if the production site is faulty, you can quickly recover services at the DR site by performing simple configurations.
