Registering an Account and Completing Real-Name Authentication
If you already have a Huawei Cloud (Chinese mainland) account that has completed real-name authentication, skip this section and use the account you used to purchase Huawei Cloud (Chinese mainland) filing servers for ICP filing.
If you do not have any Huawei Cloud (Chinese mainland) account or have not completed real-name authentication, perform the following steps:
- Register an account.
You can use a Huawei Cloud (Chinese mainland) account to apply for ICP filing for only one entity, either an enterprise or an individual. Each entity can obtain multiple ICP numbers for multiple websites. If you apply for ICP filing for multiple entities, you need to register new Huawei Cloud (Chinese mainland) accounts for these entities.
- Visit Huawei Cloud (Chinese mainland) website.
- Click Sign Up and follow the instructions to create your account.
- Click Console in the upper right corner to log in to the console.
After your account is created, you are directed to your personal information page.
Huawei Cloud international website accounts do not support ICP filing. You need to register a Huawei Cloud Chinese mainland website account for ICP filing.
- Perform real-name authentication for the account.
For details about how to perform real-name authentication for individuals or enterprises, see real-name authentication.
The information used for real-name authentication of the Huawei Cloud (Chinese mainland) account can be different from that of the filing entity.
- Perform real-name authentication for the domain name.
- If you purchased domain names from Huawei Cloud (Chinese mainland), perform real-name authentication by referring to Real-Name Authentication for Huawei Cloud Domain Names.
- If you purchased domain names from other cloud vendors, go to your domain name provider to complete real-name authentication.
The certificate holder, type, and number used for the domain name real-name authentication must be the same as those of the filing entity.
