GeminiDB is a distributed, multi-model NoSQL database service with decoupled compute and storage. It is highly available, secure, and scalable and can deliver robust performance. It provides service capabilities including quick deployment, backup, restoration, monitoring, and alarm reporting.
GeminiDB provides four products: GeminiDB Cassandra, GeminiDB Mongo, GeminiDB Influx, and GeminiDB Redis. They are compatible with mainstream NoSQL APIs of Cassandra, MongoDB, InfluxDB, and Redis, respectively, and provide high read/write performance at low costs, making it well suited to IoT, meteorology, Internet, and gaming sectors.

GeminiDB Cassandra API is a cloud-native NoSQL database compatible with Cassandra. It supports Cassandra Query Language (CQL), which gives you SQL-like syntax. GeminiDB Cassandra API is secure, reliable, scalable, and easy to manage and provides outstanding read/write performance.
Released in: CN-Hong Kong, LA-Sao Paulo1, AP-Jakarta, and AP-Singapore regions.

GeminiDB Mongo API is a cloud-native NoSQL high availability database compatible with MongoDB. This flexible, scalable, and reliable database can be managed on a visualized platform.
Released in: CN-Hong Kong, and AP-Singapore regions.

GeminiDB Influx API is a cloud-native NoSQL time-series database with decoupled compute and storage and full compatibility with InfluxDB. This high availability database is secure and scalable, can be deployed, backed up, or restored quickly, and includes monitoring and alarm management. You can also expand storage or compute resources separately. It is widely used to monitor resources, services, IoT devices, and industrial production processes, evaluate production quality, and trace faults. GeminiDB Influx API meets the demand of high concurrent read and write, compressed storage, and SQL-like query, and supports multi-dimensional aggregation computing and visualized data analysis.
Released in: CN-Hong Kong, AP-Jakarta, and AP-Singapore regions.

GeminiDB Redis API is compatible with Redis, cost-effective, reliable, and scalable, and can separate hot and cold data.
Released in: LA-Sao Paulo1, and AP-Jakarta regions.

You can bind an EIP to the DB instance for public accessibility and can also unbind the EIP from the DB instance as needed.
You can bind an EIP to a primary DB instance or a read replica only.
If a DB instance has already been bound with an EIP, you must unbind the EIP from the DB instance first before binding a new EIP to it.Released in: CN-Hong Kong, LA-Sao Paulo1, AP-Jakarta, and AP-Singapore regions.

You can scale up storage space if it is no longer sufficient for your requirements. If the DB instance status is Storage full and data cannot be written to databases, you need to scale up storage space.
Storage scaling does not interrupt your services. After storage scaling is complete, you do not need to restart your instance.
Released in: CN-Hong Kong, LA-Sao Paulo1, AP-Jakarta, and AP-Singapore regions.

You can change the DB instance class of a DB instance as required. If the status of a DB instance changes from Changing instance class to Available, the change is successful.
Released in: CN-Hong Kong, LA-Sao Paulo1, AP-Jakarta, and AP-Singapore regions.

You can set an automatic backup policy or create a manual backup to back up the database. If the database is faulty or data is damaged, you can restore the database using the existing backup to ensure data reliability.
Released in: CN-Hong Kong, LA-Sao Paulo1, AP-Jakarta, and AP-Singapore regions.

You can use database parameter templates to manage DB engine configurations. A database parameter template acts as a container for engine configuration values that can be applied to one or more DB instances.
When creating a DB instance, you can use a default parameter template or create a custom template. After the DB instance is created, you can change the applied parameter template.
Default parameter template:DB engine defaults and database system defaults are included in default parameter templates.
Custom parameter template:If you want to use your custom parameter settings, you can create a parameter template and apply it with your DB instance.Released in: CN-Hong Kong, LA-Sao Paulo1, AP-Jakarta, and AP-Singapore regions.

Cloud Eye monitors the instance running statuses. You can view the instance monitoring metrics on the management console.
Monitored data requires a period of time for transmission and display. The status of the monitored object displayed on the Cloud Eye page is the status obtained 5 to 10 minutes before. You can view the monitored data of a newly created DB instance 5 to 10 minutes later.
You can set the instance alarm rules to customize the monitored objects and notification policies, and keep apprised of events in a timely manner.
Released in: CN-Hong Kong, LA-Sao Paulo1, AP-Jakarta, and AP-Singapore regions.
