Resource Aggregation

With resource aggregators, Config can aggregate resource configurations from other Huawei Cloud or organization member accounts to a single account, facilitating your resource query.

Resource aggregators provide a read-only view, and you can only view resource information of aggregated source accounts. For example, you cannot create assignments or export snapshot files from source accounts through a resource aggregator.

Advanced Queries

Advanced Queries allow you to use ResourceQL to query how your resources in one or more regions are configured.

Advanced Queries allows you to query and browse your resources on Huawei Cloud. You can use ResourceQL to edit SQL statements and query resources in the query editor.

Resource compliance

Config provides compliance scanning to help you automate resource compliance. By adding a set of assignments, you can evaluate whether your resources are compliant.

Resource history

You can view the resource history to learn about the resource changes.

A record is generated in the resource history when any attribute or resource relationship of a resource changes. The record is stored for seven years by default.

Resource recorder

The resource recorder is used to track resource changes on Huawei Cloud. With the resource recorder, you can now:

• Notifies you when resources are created, modified, or deleted.

• Notifies you when resource relationships are changed.

• Stores resource change notifications every 6 hours.

• Stores resource snapshots every 24 hours.

Resource relationships record the relationships between different resources on Huawei Cloud.

• the binding relationship between EVS disks and ECSs
