Optimized JVM thread monitoring

JVM monitoring displays the memory and thread metrics of Java applications. You can monitor metric trends in real time for performance analysis.

Commercial use

Thread Graphs

2

Optimized ServiceComb tracing

With the tracing function, APM traces and records service calls, comprehensively monitors key metrics such as call status and latency, and visually restores the execution traces and statuses of service requests in distributed systems, so that you can quickly locate performance bottlenecks and faults.

1

Transaction grouping and rule customization

A transaction is usually an HTTP request. The process is as follows: user request > web server > database > web server > user request. A transaction may require multiple calls between services. Any slow or incorrect call may lead to slow responses. During routine O&M, you can analyze the transactions with slow responses to locate and rectify application problems, thereby improving service experience.

1

Connection of Docker applications to APM

If you have a Java application image, you can add the parameters required by the Java probe to the native Docker startup command. In this case, by starting the image, you can connect the Java application to APM, and then view application data on the topology and transaction pages.

Commercial use

Connecting a Native Docker Application to APM

2

Connection of Deployment applications to APM

Deployment is a workload that does not store any data or status. If you have deployed a Deployment application using Cloud Container Engine (CCE) or open-source Kubernetes, you can execute the configuration script to connect the application to APM and view its data on the topology and transaction pages.

1

Enhanced topology function (with more service and instance metrics and topology details)

A topology graphically displays call and dependency relationships between applications. In a topology, each circle represents a service, each section in the circle represents an instance, and each arrow represents a call relationship. APM supports calls between applications. The topology can display service call relationships across applications. When a circle represents an application, right-click the circle and choose View Application to go to the topology page.

2

Threshold rule customization and statistics counting for JVM monitoring

APM supports alarm reporting when JVM memory and thread metrics are abnormal. You can set threshold rules for JVM metrics. When metric values meet the threshold rules, alarms will be reported to the alarm center.
