Installing or Upgrading the Cloud Eye Agent Plugin on a Lite Server
Scenario
If the Cloud Eye Agent version on your Lite Server's OS image is outdated and disrupts Cloud Eye services, you cannot upgrade it using standard methods. Rebuilding the OS image or manually running commands is complex, slow, and error-prone, making these options inefficient. A quick, bulk upgrade solution for Cloud Eye Agent without interrupting operations was needed.
The Lite Server platform now offers a built-in feature for installing and upgrading Cloud Eye Agent. Using the platform, you can efficiently manage batch upgrades or installations of specific versions, reducing manual effort, minimizing risks, and improving both maintenance speed and system reliability.
Constraints
Currently, only the Cloud Eye Agent on Snt9b nodes and Snt9b23 supernodes can be installed or upgraded in batches.
Prerequisites
This operation depends on the Lite Server AI plugin pre-installed on the node. Install the plugin by referring to Managing Lite Server AI Plug-ins.
Procedure
- Log in to the ModelArts console.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Resource Management > Lite Servers. On the displayed page, click the Task Center tab.
