Setting Release and Sprint Baselines

Releases and sprints can be set as the baseline and the baseline setting can also be canceled.

  • After the release is baselined, the R&D requirements (IRs) under the release are also baselined.
  • After the release is unbaselined, the R&D requirements (IRs) under the release are also unbaselined.
  • After a sprint is baselined, the R&D requirements (IPD-system equipment/SR and AR) (IPD-standalone software/US) under the sprint are also baselined.
  • After a sprint is unbaselined, the R&D requirements (IPD-system device/SR and AR) (IPD-standalone software/US) under the sprint are also unbaselined.

Prerequisites

  • A project has been created.
  • Releases and sprints have been created.

Setting Baseline

  1. In the plan management list, select the release and sprint to be baselined.

    • Select the release and sprint to be baselined and click Baseline in the lower part of the page.

      You can select one or more options.

    • Click in the row where the release or sprint to be baselined is located, and select Baseline from the expanded menu.

  2. In the displayed dialog box, click OK.

    The baseline icons will display on the icons of the corresponding release and sprint in the plan management list.

Canceling Baseline

Only baselined releases and sprints can be canceled.

  1. In the plan management list, select the release for which you want to cancel the baseline.

    • Select the release and click Cancel Baseline in the lower part of the page.

      You can select one or more options.

    • Click in the row where the release or sprint to be baselined is located, and select Cancel Baseline from the expanded menu.

      After both the release and sprint are set as the baseline, the baseline of the sprint under the release can be canceled separately.

  2. In the displayed dialog box, click OK.

    The baseline icons will not display on the icons of the corresponding release and sprint in the plan management list.
