Introduction to Status Transition

The entire life cycle of a task consists of the Initial, Processing, and Completed states. Figure 1 shows the complete status transition process.

Table 1 describes operations in each state.

When a task is created, the state is Initial by default.

  2. Editing a Task in the Initial State

Processing

After the task in the Initial state is processed, the state changes to Processing.

Editing a Task in the Processing State

Completed

After the task is processed, the state changes to Completed.
