Disabling Kafka Manager
Kafka Manager consumes memory and CPU. To free some resources, disable this function. This section describes how to disable Kafka Manager on the console.
Notes and Constraints
- Once disabled, Kafka Manager cannot be enabled.
- Disabling Kafka Manager does not restart the instance.
Procedure
- Log in to the console.
- Click
in the upper left corner to select the region where your instance is located.
- Click
and choose Middleware > Distributed Message Service (for Kafka) to open the console of DMS for Kafka.
- In the navigation pane, choose Kafka Instances.
- Click the desired Kafka instance to go to the instance details page.
- On the Basic Information tab page, click
next to Kafka Manager in the Connection area.
After Kafka Manager is disabled, the Kafka Manager connection address will not be displayed on the console, the Kafka Manager password cannot be reset, and Kafka Manager cannot be restarted.
