Managing Data Portals

Managing data portals involves viewing, editing, and deleting them, which is essential for maintaining data accuracy, updating business insights promptly, and optimizing decision-making processes. This section describes how to view, edit, and delete a data portal.

Prerequisite

A data portal has been created by referring to Creating a Data Portal.

Viewing a Data Portal

  1. Log in to the DataArts Insight console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console to select a region. Then, select an enterprise project in the upper right corner.
  3. On the top menu of the console, click Project. On the displayed My Projects page, click the name of the desired project.
  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Work Management > Data Portals.
  5. Locate the data portal you want to view and click View in the Operation column.

Editing a Data Portal

  1. Log in to the DataArts Insight console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console to select a region. Then, select an enterprise project in the upper right corner.
  3. On the top menu of the console, click Project. On the displayed My Projects page, click the name of the desired project.
  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Work Management > Data Portals.
  5. Locate the data portal you want to edit and click Edit in the Operation column.

    Name

    Name of the new data portal.

    Creator

    Person who creates the data portal.

    User who performed the modification

    Person who modifies the data portal.

    Modified

    Time when the data portal is edited.

    Operation

    • Edit: Edit the data portal.
    • View: View the data portal.
    • Sharing and Collaboration: Assign permissions for the data portal.
    • Delete: Delete the data portal.

Deleting a Data Portal

  1. Log in to the DataArts Insight console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console to select a region. Then, select an enterprise project in the upper right corner.
  3. On the top menu of the console, click Project. On the displayed My Projects page, click the name of the desired project.
  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Work Management > Data Portals.
  5. Locate the data portal you want to delete and click Delete in its Operation column. Alternatively, select multiple data portals you want to delete and click Delete in the upper right corner of the list.
  6. In the Delete Portal dialog box that appears, click OK.
