Overview

Personnel management is the centralized user data management module in COC. It allows administrators to manage users from various login sources, including IAM users, IAM federated users, and IAM Identity Center users. The user data maintained here serves as the core foundational identity dataset for COC and provides essential support for multiple functional modules, such as to-do creation, scheduled O&M, notification management, and incident center.

Administrators can manually select target users and perform actions such as editing, deleting, or requesting subscriptions. When updating an existing user's information, if contact methods—such as mobile number, email, WeCom, Lark, or DingTalk—are provided, the system automatically creates corresponding subscription channels in the backend. This ensures readiness for delivering various types of operational notifications in subsequent workflows.

For details about the data sources of each user type in Personnel Management, see Table 1.

Table 1 User types and sources supported by personnel management

User Type

User Data Source

Common IAM User

Synchronized from IAM

IAM Federated User (IAM User SSO)

Synchronized from IAM

IAM Federated User (Virtual User SSO)

Manually added on the personnel management page

IAM Identity Center User

Synchronized from IAM Identity Center

If you log in to COC as an IAM Identity Center user, COC can only synchronize personnel information to the administrator accounts of the organization (including organization administrators and IAM Identity Center delegated administrators). Such users are not permitted to perform any operations under any member account on COC.

To perform operations (such as executing scripts or jobs) on COC under a member account, set the user as a delegated IAM administrator in the organization service by referring to Specifying a Delegated Administrator.
