Overview
Account Management allows you to centrally manage human-machine accounts of Huawei Cloud ECSs, RDS DB instances, GaussDB instances, and middleware. We collect multiple accounts in one place to avoid risks such as forgetting passwords or having them leaked. You can get host passwords using account management. With security controls, you can log in to Linux hosts and run commands without entering passwords.
Core Functions
- Account management: You can manage accounts on this page. For example, you can configure keys, import accounts, synchronize accounts, reset passwords, and view account passwords.
- Account password change: You can configure automatic account password change on this page.
- To automatically change the password for an existing resource, create an account baseline on the Account Baselines tab page.
- To automatically change the password for a new resource, set a password change policy on the password change policy tab page.
- To allow scheduled password changes by region, set the regions where the scheduled password change task is required on the Password Change Tasks tab page.
- Password-free login: You can select the target account in the password-free login module to directly access the command execution page of the host.
