Adding an Account to an Organization

This section describes how to add an account to an organization to perform EIP protection.

Prerequisites

Constraints

The number of accounts that can be protected by a single firewall instance is as follows:

  • Yearly/Monthly CFW:
    • Standard edition: 20
    • Professional edition: 50
  • Pay-per-use CFW (professional edition): 20

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console and select a region or project.
  3. In the navigation pane on the left, click and choose Security & Compliance > Cloud Firewall. The Dashboard page will be displayed.
  4. (Optional) Switch firewall instance: Select a firewall from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.
  5. In the navigation pane, choose System Management > Multi-Account Management.
  6. Click Add Account. Select accounts in the navigation tree on the left. The selected accounts are automatically added to the Selected area on the right.

    The added accounts belong to the same organization. For details about organization accounts, see Overview of an Account.

  7. Click OK. The added account is displayed in the account list.

Follow-up Operations

Asset synchronization: After adding an organization member account, click Synchronize EIP. The EIPs of the added account will be displayed on the CFW console. For details, see Enabling EIP Protection.
