Unbinding an EIP from a CBH Instance

To bind another EIP to a bastion host instance or release an EIP that has been bound to a bastion host instance, unbind the EIP from the instance first. After the EIP is unbound from the CBH instance, this EIP cannot be used to log in to the CBH system.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the CBH console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner on the displayed page and select a region.
  3. Locate the row containing the instance from which you want to unbind an EIP. In the Operation column, choose More > Configure Network > Unbind EIP.
  4. In the displayed dialog box, click OK.

    After the unbinding is successful, the EIP column in the instance list does not contain any IP address. The Log in button in the Operation column becomes unavailable.
