Managing Tags

You can use tags to manage resources in batches. For resources you want to manage them hierarchically, you can use keys and values. For common resources, you can use only keys.

Adding a Tag

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region or project. In the upper left corner of the page, click and select a region. Choose Security & Compliance > Cloud Bastion Host to go to the CBH instance management page.

    Parameter

    Description

    Instance Name

    Instance name you specify. It cannot be modified after the instance is created.

    Status

    Status of the instance, including the status of the standby node.

    Instance Type

    Instance type you select.

    Login Address

    Private IP address of an instance.

    EIP

    EIP of the instance.

    Billing Mode

    Billing mode of the current instance.

    Enterprise Project

    Enterprise project that the instance belongs to.

  3. Click the name of the target instance to go to its details page.
  4. In the Tag area, click Add Tag. In the dialog box displayed, enter a tag key and value.

    • A tag key cannot start with _sys_, and cannot start or end with a space. But UTF-8 letters, digits, spaces, and the following characters are allowed: _.:=+-@
    • A tag value can contain only UTF-8 letters, digits, spaces, and the following characters: _.:=+-@
    • It is recommended that you use TMS's predefined tag function to add the same tag to different cloud resources. For details, see Creating Predefined Tags.

  5. Confirm the information and click OK.

Editing a Tag

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region or project. In the upper left corner of the page, click and select a region. Choose Security & Compliance > Cloud Bastion Host to go to the CBH instance management page.

    Parameter

    Description

    Instance Name

  3. Click the name of the target instance to go to its details page.
  4. Click Edit in the Operation column of the target tag and edit the tag value.
  5. Confirm the information and click OK.

Deleting a Tag

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region or project. In the upper left corner of the page, click and select a region. Choose Security & Compliance > Cloud Bastion Host to go to the CBH instance management page.

  3. Click the name of the target instance to go to its details page.
  4. Click Delete in the Operation column of the target tag.
  5. Confirm the deletion and click OK.
