Relational Database Data Sources

Relational databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, GaussDB, and PostgreSQL can be used as data sources.

Creating a Relational Database Data Source

  1. Log in to Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas by referring to Logging In to Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas.
  2. Choose Data Center from the main menu.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Data Sources.
  4. On the Data Sources page, click Create.
  5. Choose Relational Database and set data source parameters.

    • Name: The name of the new data source, used for identification. The name can contain 1 to 32 characters, including letters, digits, and underscores (_), but cannot start or end with an underscore (_).
    • Database Type: Select the supported type as needed.
    • Domain Name: Database domain name.
    • Port: The database port, with values ranging from 0 to 65535.
    • Schema Name: The schema name of the Microsoft SQL Server database. This parameter is displayed only when Database Type is set to MS SQL Server.
    • User name: The username for logging in to the database.
    • Password: The password for logging in to the database.
    • Database Name: The database instance name.
    • Description: description of the data source to be created.

  6. Click Test. If the connection is successful, the data source is ready to use.
  7. Click Save.
