Executing a Test Plan and Viewing the Report
This section describes the general testing procedure in CodeArts TestPlan, as outlined in figure 1.
Prerequisites
Accessing the CodeArts TestPlan Homepage
- Log in to the Huawei Cloud console.
- Click
in the upper left corner of the page and choose Developer Services > CodeArts TestPlan from the service list.
- Click Access Service.
Creating a Project
- On the navigation bar, click Homepage.
- Click Create Project.
- Hover the cursor over the Scrum card. Click Select to use this template to create a project.
- Set Project Name to Scrum01 and retain the default values for other parameters.
- Click OK to access the project.
Creating a Test Plan
- In the navigation pane, choose Testing > Testing Plan.
- Click Create Plan. Enter the plan name, processor, and plan period by referring to Table 1. Set the version to be tested, sprint, and description, if needed. Click Next.

- Select an execution mode. For example, Manual Test. Deselect other execution modes, and click Save.
Creating a Manual Test Case
Creating and Executing a Test Suite
- On the Testing > Testing Plan page, hover the cursor over the test plan Plan01 created in step 1, and click Execute.
- Click Create Suite and enter a test suite name, for example, Suite01. Click Add Case or Add now, select the test case created in step 1, click OK, and click Save.
- In the Operation column of the test suite, click
. In the displayed window, set the step results, case result, and suite result, click Save, and click
in the upper right corner to close the window.
Viewing the Test Report
From a quality report, you can learn about the execution status of the test plan, such as the pass rate of test cases and the number of defects.
- On the Testing > Testing Plan page, hover the cursor over the test plan Plan01 created in step 1, and click Report. The report page is displayed, showing the test plan progress.
- Click Download Quality Report to download the quality report.
