Migration Process

You can log in to the OMS console to migrate source objects. Figure 1 shows the migration process.

Step

Description

Create an AK/SK pair.

Obtain AK/SK pairs for the source and destination accounts.

  • Source: For instructions about how to obtain an AK/SK pair, see the documentation provided by the source cloud service provider.
  • Destination: For instructions about how to obtain an AK/SK pair, see Creating Access Keys.

Create a destination OBS bucket.

Create an OBS bucket for storing the migrated data. For details, see Creating a Bucket.

Create a migration task in OMS.

Create a migration task and start the task on the OMS console. For details, see Creating a Task to Migrate a File or Folder.

Check the migration results in OMS.
Check the migration results on the OMS console.
