Identity Authentication

You can access SMS through the console, Agent, APIs, or SDKs. To access SMS through the console, you need to sign in with a Huawei Cloud account. To access SMS through the Agent, APIs, or SDKs, you need to call APIs.

SMS can authenticate API requests using the AK/SK pairs of requesters. An authenticated request must contain a signature value that is calculated based on the encrypted AK/SK pair of the requester and the specific information carried in the request body. Access Control

Working with Identity and Access Management (IAM), SMS provides system-defined policies and custom policies to enable you to securely control access to your SMS resources. For more information, see Creating a User and Assigning Permissions. You are advised to create custom policies for SMS based on the principle of least privilege (PoLP).
