Data Protection

SMS uses different technologies to protect your server data and personal data.

Server data protection
SMS uses dynamically generated security certificates and keys to establish connections between source and target servers. It uses SSL to encrypt the connections and then transmit your server data over these encrypted connections.
Personal data protection
SMS authenticates the Agent installed on each source server using AK/SK pairs and uses HTTPS for communications between the Agent with Huawei Cloud.
