Functions
Multi-Site High Availability Service (MAS)
MAS is part of Huawei's consumer solution for high availability of multi-active applications. It provides end-to-end (E2E) service failover and DR drill capabilities from the traffic input and data to the application layer, for faster service recovery and better continuity. For details, see Application Scenarios and What Is MAS?
Namespaces
A namespace is a collection of all resources (traffic input, multi-active areas, data synchronization records, and monitoring information) for a MAS instance to isolate resources for security. MAS supports three types of namespaces: intra-city multi-active, remote multi-active, and remote geographic-redundancy. For details, see Namespace Management.
Application Management
Applications isolate resources of different users in an instance. Monitor resources must be associated with applications. For details, see Application Management.
Multi-Active Instances
A MAS instance is an independent resource space where all operations are performed. Resources of different instances are isolated from each other. You can use one or more MAS instances as required. For details, see Creating a MAS Instance.
Monitor Management
|
MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL monitor |
A MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL monitor detects your database status, and automatically triggers traffic switching when the database is abnormal. For details, see MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL Monitoring. |
|
Redis monitor |
A Redis monitor detects your database status, and automatically triggers traffic switching when the database is abnormal. For details, see Redis Monitoring. |
|
MongoDB monitor |
A MongoDB monitor detects your database status, and automatically triggers traffic switching when the database is abnormal. For details, see MongoDB Monitoring. |
|
Elasticsearch monitor |
An Elasticsearch monitor detects your database status, and automatically triggers traffic switching when the database is abnormal. For details, see Elasticsearch Monitoring. |
|
API monitor |
API monitors monitor the API gateway of your service, and control the resolution result of the DNS entry based on the availability of API gateway. For details, see API Monitoring. |
Credentials Management
MAS can manage, query, and access cloud resources across accounts with an IAM agency and AK/SK. For details, see Credential Management.
Event Monitoring
Cloud Eye provides you insights in cloud service running and metrics, and allows you to create alarm rules for the monitoring metrics. Event monitoring provides event collection, query, and alarm reporting. You can create alarm rules for both system events and custom events. When specific events occur, Cloud Eye generates alarms for you. After creating alarm rules for important metrics, you can know exceptions timely and rectify the faults quickly. For details, see Event Monitoring.
Checking Audit Logs
You can use Cloud Trace Service (CTS) to record key operation events related to MAS. The events can be used in various scenarios such as security analysis, compliance audit, resource tracing, and problem locating. After you enable CTS, the system starts to record MAS operations. For details, see Audit Logs.
