What Are the Precautions for Associating a Customer with a Partner?

  • Each customer can be associated with only one partner.
  • A HUAWEI CLOUD account in arrears cannot associate with a partner.
  • A customer cannot be associated with a partner if the customer has signed a special contract with HUAWEI CLOUD, such as an offline directly-signed contract, authorized telemarketing contract with discounts, and directly-signed special offer contract.
  • The account to be associated cannot be a consulting partner account in use or pending approval.
  • A HUAWEI CLOUD account that has been registered for more than seven days cannot be associated with a partner.
  • A HUAWEI CLOUD account that has consumption records or is provisioned with resources cannot be associated with a partner by reseller model.
  • Failed to associate with the partner by reseller model because the customer has its enterprise member account associated with the enterprise master account. To associate with the partner by reseller model, disassociate from the enterprise master account.
  • Failed to associate with the partner by reseller model because the customer has its enterprise master account.
  • A customer with an internal HUAWEI CLOUD account cannot be associated with any partner.
  • If the signing entity of the customer is different from that of the partner, the customer cannot be associated with the partner by referral mode.
  • HUAWEI CLOUD customers whose reserved instances are not expired cannot be associated with any partner by reseller model.

A customer who does not meet the preceding requirements can contact the customer service or submit a service ticket to request to associate with a partner by reseller model.
