Creating a Cluster Diagnostic Task

Function

This API is used to create a cluster diagnostic task.

It is available for Elasticsearch and OpenSearch.

Calling Method

For details, see Calling APIs.

Authorization Information

Each account has all the permissions required to call all APIs, but IAM users must be assigned the required permissions.

  • If you are using role/policy-based authorization, see Permissions Policies and Supported Actions for details on the required permissions.
  • If you are using identity policy-based authorization, the following identity policy-based permissions are required.

Type

Description

check_type

No

String

Definition

Detection scope for cluster diagnosis. Different diagnosis types apply to different fault troubleshooting scenarios.

Constraints

When check_type is partial_detection, this parameter must be used together with check_items. You are advised to supplement this dependency description.

Range

  • full_detection: Full detection items.

  • unavailability_detection: Cluster unavailable detection items for quick diagnosis of cluster unavailable scenarios.

  • partial_detection: Select some detection items from the full detection items for detection. The specific detection items need to be set in check_items.

Default Value

full_detection

check_items

No

Array of strings

Definition

Select some detection items from the full detection items for detection. Enter a list of detection items. Each element in the array is the ID string of a detection item.

Constraints

This parameter is valid only when check_type is partial_detection.
