Rolling Back a Configuration File

This section describes how to roll back a configuration file to a historical version.

Prerequisites

Editing a Configuration File has been performed on the configuration file to be rolled back.

Rolling Back a Configuration File

  1. Log in to ServiceStage.
  2. Choose Configuration Management.
  3. Use either of the following methods to open the Historical Version dialog box:

    • Click View History in the Operation column of the target configuration file.
    • Click the target configuration file and click View History.

  4. Move the cursor to a historical version.
  5. Use either of the following methods to roll back the configuration file:

    • Roll back after version comparison: Click Compare to compare the current and historical versions, and click Roll Back to Current Version.
    • Roll back after viewing the historical version configuration: Click View to view the configuration details of the historical version, and click Roll Back to Current Version.

  6. Click OK.

    Compare the historical version selected in 4 with the latest version by referring to Comparing Configuration Files. If the configurations are the same, the rollback is successful.
