Pushing a Configuration File Version to an Associated Component
Push the configuration file of a specified version to an associated component to update the component application configuration.
Prerequisites
- The configuration file to be pushed has been associated with a component.
- For container-deployed components, see Managing Application Settings of a Container-Deployed Component.
- For VM-deployed components, see Managing Application Settings of a VM-Deployed Component.
- The target component is in the Running, Releasing, or Not ready state. For details about how to check the component status, see Viewing Component Details.
Procedure
- Log in to ServiceStage.
- Choose Configuration Management > List.
- Click the target configuration file.
- Click the Associated Components tab.
- Select the target associated component and click Push in the Operation column.
- Select a Target Version.
The mount mode of the configuration file version must be the same as that of the associated component.
- Click OK.
Wait until the Push Status changes from Pushing to Pushed, indicating that the configuration file version has been successfully pushed to the associated component.
- Click the component. The Overview page is displayed.
- Click Restart.
- Click OK.
Wait until the component status changes from Restarting to Running, indicating that the component is restarted successfully.
- In the Configurations area, expand Application Settings and check Current Component Version.
If the version is the same as the version selected in 6, the operation is successful.
