Knowledge Base
The knowledge base module provides rules for data discovery and identification. It contains tens of thousands of feature sample data such as names, addresses, and ID numbers, and supports user-defined categories and detailed data to improve the accuracy and scenario coverage of sensitive data identification.
Adding Category
- Logging In to the Database Encryption System using the system administrator sysadmin account.
- In the left navigation bar, select Rule Management > Knowledge Base.
- Click the Add New Category button. Enter the necessary information in the pop-up window. Figure 2 Creating a new dictionary category

Description
Dictionary Category
Required. Enter the unique identifier name of the encryption algorithm.
Remark
You can fill in other explanatory information.
- Click Confirm. This will create a new custom knowledge base category.
Add Dictionary Data
On the main page of the knowledge base, click Add New Value in the upper right corner.

|---|---|
| Dictionary Category | Required. Enter the unique identifier name of the encryption algorithm. |
| Value | Requires you to enter a specific string value. |
| Name | Allows you to enter a descriptive description of the value. |
Viewing the Knowledge Base
On the main page of the knowledge base, the system has built in a large number of data dictionaries as the default knowledge base data, which users can view themselves and use the buttons on the inner pages to perform other functions.
