Altering a Table

After a table is created, you can alter information of the table, including basic information, columns, and indexes.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the DAS console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
  3. Click in the upper left corner, and under Databases, click Data Admin Service.
  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Development Tool.

    You can also click Go to Development Tool on the overview page.

  5. Locate the DB instance that you want to log in to and click Log In in the Operation column.
  6. On the top menu bar, choose Keyspace Management.
  7. Click Change Keyspace on the right of the current keyspace to switch to the keyspace where you want to alter a table.

  8. On the displayed Objects tab, choose Tables on the left.
  9. In the table list, locate the table you want to alter and click Alter in the Operation column.

  10. On the displayed tab, modify table information and click Save.
  11. Click Alter.
  12. In the SQL Preview dialog box, click Execute.
