This topic describes how to reset the password of user admin for your instance.
Resetting the Password of User admin
- Log in to the CBH console.
- Click
in the upper left corner on the displayed page and select a region. - Locate the row containing the target instance. In the Operation column, choose More > Reset > Reset Admin Password.
- In the dialog box displayed, reset the password of the admin user.

Description
New Password
Set a new password for the admin user. The password must:
- Contain 8 to 32 characters.
- Contain at least three of the following character types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and the following special characters: !@$%^-_=+[{}]:,./?~#*
- Cannot contain the username or the username spelled backwards.
- Cannot contain more than two consecutive identical characters (case sensitive).
Confirm Password
Enter the new password again.
- Click OK.
