Changing the Password of User rdadmin
Scenarios
- For O&M security purposes, you are advised to change the user rdadmin's password of the Agent OS regularly and disable this user's remote login permission.
- In Linux, user rdadmin does not have a password.
- This section describes how to change the password of user rdadmin in Windows 2012. For other versions, change the password according to actual situation.
Prerequisites
- You have obtained a username and its password for logging in to the management console.
- The username and password for logging in to a Windows ECS have been obtained.
Procedure
- Go to the ECS console and log in to the Windows ECS.
- Choose Start > Control Panel. In the Control Panel window, click User Accounts.
- Click User Accounts. The User Account Control dialog box is displayed. Select rdadmin and click Reset Password.
- Enter the new password and click OK.
- In Task Manager, click the Services tab and then click Open Service.
- Select RdMonitor and RdNginx respectively. In the displayed dialog box, select Login, change the password to the one entered in Step 4, and click OK.
