Resetting the Password of the DWS Database Administrator
If you forget the password of the administrator account root or lock the account, you can reset the password on the Cluster > Cluster List page. The new password is applied immediately. By default, a maximum of 10 incorrect password attempts are allowed. You can change this number by setting the failed_login_attempts parameter on the Parameter Modifications page of the cluster. For details, see Modifying GUC Parameters of the DWS Cluster.

- Log in to the DWS console.
- Choose Cluster > Cluster List.
