Configuring Microsoft SharePoint Server 2016
- In the SharePoint products configuration wizard, click Next. Figure 1 SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard
- Click Yes to allow service restart during the configuration. Figure 2 Service restart prompt
- Select Create a new server farm. Figure 3 Creating a new server farm
- Specify configuration database settings. The SharePoint database is on the local host, so you need to enter the local database and account. Then, click Next. Figure 4 Configuring the SharePoint database
- Enter the password of the server farm and click Next. Figure 5 Setting the password for the SharePoint server farm
- Select Front-end to specify the server role and click Next. Figure 6 Setting the SharePoint server role
- Set the port number of SharePoint Central Administration Web Application to 10000. Figure 7 Port number of SharePoint Central Administration Web Application
- Check and confirm the SharePoint configurations. Figure 8 SharePoint configurations
- Click Next to start configuring SharePoint. Figure 9 Configuration progress
