Function Description

The API product catalog function allows you to combine APIs of different ROMA Connect instances into an API product and share the API product with other users under your account, improving API management and reuse efficiency. ROMA Connect has the following advantages for API product management:

  • Cross-instance API combination

    APIs of different instances in the same region can be combined into one API product.

  • API product catalog

    API products can be released in the API product catalog so that other users under the same account can view and subscribe to the released API products.

  • Subscription and credential customization

    Users can subscribe to API products that have been released in the API product catalog and use custom credentials to call APIs in the subscribed-to products.

Process for Using the API Product Catalog

The process of using the API product catalog is as follows:

  1. Create and publish APIs in the ROMA Connect instance.
  2. Create an API product.

    Create an API product and add the APIs in the ROMA Connect instance to the API product.

  3. Release the API product.

    Release the API product to the API product catalog so that other users under the same account can view and subscribe to the API product.

  4. Subscribe to the API product.

    Create a credential in the API product catalog and use the credential to subscribe to the API product that has been released in the catalog.
