Subscribing to an API Product

Overview

You can view and subscribe to an API product in the API product catalog. After the subscription, you can use credentials to call APIs in the API product.

Creating a Credential

  1. Log in to the ROMA Connect console and choose Assets in the navigation pane.
  2. Click Catalog Management in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. On the Subscriptions and Credentials tab page, click Create on the right of Credentials.
  4. In the Create Credential dialog box, set Name and Description, and click OK.
    • After the credential is created, you can view it in the credential list. Click the credential to view the credential information and the API products that have been subscribed to using the credential in the right pane.
    • To delete the credential, cancel the subscription to the API product in the credential first.

Subscribing to a Product

  1. On the API Product Catalog tab page of the Assets page, search for the API product to subscribe to.
    • You can search for your desired API product by product name.
    • You can click the name of the API product to view its details.
  2. Click Subscribe on the right of the API product.
  3. In the dialog box displayed, select the credential to be used by the API product and click OK.
    After you subscribe to the API product, you can use the key and secret of the credential to call APIs in the API product.

    The same credential cannot be used to subscribe to an API product repeatedly.
