OBS Volumes
CCI allows you to mount OBS volumes to containers.
OBS is a cloud storage service that provides massive, secure, highly reliable, and low-cost data storage capabilities. For more information, see the Object Storage Service.
Constraints
- Currently, you can mount OBS volumes only to job resources.
- Exercise caution when you delete an OBS bucket. After you delete an OBS bucket, containers in CCI will become unavailable.
- If you mount OBS buckets using APIs, there are constraints on configuring container startup commands. For details, see Constraints on OBS Bucket Mounting.
Importing OBS Buckets
CCI allows you to import existing OBS buckets. To ensure the reliability and stability of OBS volumes, configure keys before you import OBS buckets. For details, see Access Keys.
- Log in to the CCI console. In the navigation pane, choose Storage > OBS. On the page displayed on the right, select a namespace and click Upload Key.
- Select a local key file and click Confirm.
Add a CSV file whose size does not exceed 2 MB. If you do not have an access key locally, choose My Credentials > Access Keys and add and download an access key.
- On the OBS page, click Import.
- Select one or more OBS buckets that you want to import. Then, click Import.
If there are no OBS buckets, click create an OBS volume to create one. On the OBS console, choose Parallel File System or Object Storage, set parameters, and click Create Now.
After an OBS bucket or a parallel file system is created, go back to the Import OBS Bucket page on the CCI console. Then, select the created OBS bucket or file system and click Import.
Using OBS Volumes
After you select a container image when you create a job, expand Advanced Settings > Storage, click the OBS Volumes tab, and click Add OBS Volume.
To use existing OBS volumes, import OBS buckets in advance. For details, see Importing OBS Buckets.
