Binding an EIP to a CBH Instance

To log in to a CBH system, bind an EIP to the mapped CBH instance. To meet the requirements of the CBH system, set the EIP bandwidth to 5 Mbit/s or higher.

Prerequisites

You have obtained credentials for logging in to the management console.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Go to the page for viewing CBH instance information by following the steps in Figure 1.

  3. Locate the row containing the instance to which you want to bind an EIP. In the Operation column, choose More > Bind.
  4. In the displayed dialog box, select an EIP in the Unbound status and click OK.

    After the binding is successful, the Login button will be enabled. You can check the bound EIP in the EIP column.

    If no EIPs are available, create one. For details, see EIP Overview.
