Why Cannot I Inject a File Through the Console When Purchasing a Linux ECS?

When purchasing the ECS:

  • If you have selected the password authentication mode, files cannot be injected using the user data injection function.
  • If you have selected the key pair authentication, files can be injected using the user data injection function.

Solution

To use file injection, purchase a password-authenticated ECS through API but not the console.
