Buying an Expansion Instance
Constraints
- CBH has six editions available, including Basic 100, Enhanced 100, Basic 200, Enhanced 200, Basic 5000, and Enhanced 5000. For details about CBH editions, see What Are the Editions Available in CBH?
- You can change the edition you are using to a higher one. Changing to a lower edition is not supported.
Prerequisites
- You have obtained an account to log in to the management console.
- An EIP has been bound to the CBH instance.
- The CBH system data has been backed up.
- You have disabled the CBH system for any user to log in or perform any other operations.
Procedure
- Log in to the management console.
- Go to the CBH instance page as shown in Figure 1. Click More > Expand Capacity in the Operation column of the instance to be expanded.
- Select the edition you need.
Select the target Edition and click Next to go to the Details page.Figure 2 Selecting an edition
If the instance of the selected edition has been Sold Out, click Service Tickets in the management console and fill in a service ticket to contact technical support.
- After confirming the order details, click Submit.
On the payment page, finish the payment.
- Wait for about 30 minutes to the capacity expansion to take effect.
During this period, the running status of the CBH instance changes from Changing to Restarting.
- Verify that the instance status changes to Running and the instance details are updated.
Now, the purchase is complete. You can log in to the CBH system and complete system configuration confirmation.
