Managing Upgrade Tasks

Scenarios

The administrator can flexibly manage upgrade tasks, including viewing execution logs, starting and stopping tasks, modifying configurations, and copying and deleting tasks.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the console.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Version Upgrade Management > Upgrade Task.
  3. Manage upgrade tasks as required, as shown in Table 1.

    Description

    Log Details

    1. Click Log Details in the Execution Log column.
    2. On the displayed page, check Execution Time, Task Type, Target Version, Execution Cycle, Execution Status, and Number of successes/Number of failures.

    The administrator can check the execution details of an upgrade task.

    Status

    Set this parameter as required.

    • : Enabled.
    • : Disabled.

    The administrator can enable or disable the current task as required.

    Modify

    1. Click Modify in the Operation column.
    2. On the displayed page, modify Enforce Execution, Earlier Than, Upgrade To, Upgrade Task Name, Description (Optional), Execution Interval, and Notify User as required.

    The administrator can modify the upgrade task configuration as required.

    Modify Object

    1. Click Modify Object in the Operation column.
    2. On the displayed page, modify All desktops, Desktop, Static desktop pool, and Desktop Tags as required.
    3. Click OK.

    The administrator can modify the objects of an upgrade task as required.

    Copy

    1. Choose More > Copy in the Operation column.
    2. On the displayed page, change the upgrade task name and description as required.
    3. Click OK.

    The administrator can quickly copy an upgrade task as required.

    Delete

    1. Choose More > Delete in the Operation column.
    2. Enter DELETE or click Auto Enter to confirm the deletion.

    The administrator can delete unnecessary upgrade tasks.
