Binding a CSS Instance

Cloud Search Service (CSS) is an online distributed search service. You can use the multi-condition search, statistics, and report capabilities of its structured and unstructured text to analyze component logs in all scenarios.

You can bind a CSS instance when configuring Cloud Service Settings.

Prerequisites

You have created an Elasticsearch cluster. For details, see Creating an Elasticsearch Cluster.
For container-deployed components, a CCE cluster must be bound to the component deployment environment.

Binding a CSS Instance

Choose Cloud Service Settings > Cloud Search Service.
Click Bind CSS.
Select the CSS Elasticsearch instance bound to the environment.

If no CSS Elasticsearch instance is bound to the environment, click Add one and add a CSS Elasticsearch instance to the environment. For details, see Managing Basic Resources.

Set parameters by referring to the following table.

Parameter	Description
Username	Enter the username.
Password	Enter the password of the login user.

Click OK.

Move the cursor to a bound CSS Elasticsearch instance and perform the following operations:
- Rebind a CSS Elasticsearch instance: Click and select the target instance again.
- Delete a bound CSS Elasticsearch instance: Click .
