Application Scenarios
New updates often address security issues and add new features. Always use the most recent Redis version for better performance and safety. For details, see Comparing Redis Instance Types.
Solution
Currently, DCS does not support direct instance upgrades. You need to migrate data from the earlier instance to a later one. For details, see Upgrading a Redis 3.0 Instance.
Rule Logic
- If a DCS for Redis instance is earlier than the specified version, the check result is non-compliant.
- If a DCS for Redis instance is later than or equal to the specified version, the check result is compliant.
