Breaking Down R&D Requirements
R&D requirements are classified into initial requirements and user stories, which correspond to level one and level two respectively. Initial requirements can be broken down into user stories. User stories are the minimum units of R&D requirements and cannot be further broken down.
Prerequisites
- A project has been created.
- An IR has been created.
Procedure
- In the R&D requirement list, click
in the target row. - Enter the child requirement information.
Click
to expand and configure more information. - Click OK. The child requirement is successfully broken down.
Break down the requirement, the IR status automatically rolls up the US status. If you break an initial requirement into a user story, change the status of the user story, the change will be synchronized to the initial requirement.
User stories can be copied and created, but cannot be broken down.
