Creating a Shortcut Link

The shortcut link created in the IAM Identity Center access portal quickly takes you to a specific destination in the console that can access with your Huawei Cloud account. You can bookmark the link or share it with users who have access to the account.

Creating a Shortcut Link in the IAM Identity Center Access Portal

  1. Log in to the IAM Identity Center access portal and click Create Shortcut in the upper right corner.
  2. In the displayed dialog box, perform the following operations:
    1. Select an account that you have permission to access.
    2. (Optional) Select a permission set for the account. If you leave it blank, users will need to select one after login.
    3. (Optional) Enter the destination URL. If you leave it blank, users will be redirected to the initial access page of the permission set or the console home page.
    4. Generate a shortcut link.

      You can click Copy to copy the shortcut link and then bookmark it or share it with authorized users.

  • If a shortcut link is only configured with an account, it redirects you to the page listing all permission sets of the account.
  • If a shortcut link is configured with an account and a permission set, it redirects you to the initial access page of the permission set or to the console home page.
  • If a shortcut link is configured with an account, a permission set, and a destination URL, it redirects you to the destination of the specified URL.
