Scenario
In CodeArts, only the members of a project can view the project details, such as work items, test cases, and build and deployment tasks.
If an IAM user does not add an administrator as a member when creating a project, the administrator will not see the project after logging in to the homepage.
Administrators can view and manage all members under their account on the Members page.
Managing Members
- Go to the CodeArts homepage.
- Log in to the CodeArts console, click
, and select a region where you have enabled CodeArts. - Click Go to Workspace.
If your account uses the old billing mode (see Old Billing Modes), click Access Service.
- Click the username
on the top navigation bar and choose All Account Settings. - Choose General > Members from the navigation pane. The member management page is displayed.
On the Member View tab, the unique members are listed. These members include:
- All IAM users in your account
- Members of all CodeArts projects in your account
- Manage the members as needed.

| Changing the tenant roles of a member | - Editing a single member:
Find the target member in the list and click in the Operation column. In the displayed dialog box, select roles from the drop-down list and click OK. When a success message shows up, the setting is complete. - Batch editing members:
Find the target members in the list and click Change Role. In the displayed dialog box, select a role from the drop-down list and click OK. When a success message shows up, the setting is complete. |
| Enabling or disabling a member | Find the target member in the list and click in the Operation column. In the displayed dialog box, click Enabled or Disabled and click OK. When a success message shows up, the setting is complete. Disabled members cannot perform any operations on CodeArts. |
| Removing a member from projects | - Removing a member from a specific project:
- Find the target member in the list and click the arrow in front of the username. All projects that the member has joined are displayed.
- Find the target project, and click
in the Operation column. In the displayed dialog box, confirm the operation and click OK. - Removing a member from all projects: Find the target member in the list, and click
in the Operation column. In the displayed dialog box, confirm the operation and click OK. |
| Transferring resources | - On the Member View tab, locate the member whose resources you want to transfer, and click the arrow next to the username to expand the list of projects that the member participates in.
- Locate the target project in the list and click
in the Operation column. - In the displayed dialog box, select a member who will receive the resources, enable Remove original account after transfer if you do not need to keep the original account, and click OK.
When a success message shows up, the operation is complete. If Remove original account after transfer is enabled, the original member will no longer be displayed in the list. |
